Why I am Pro-Life Part III

Because Disabled People are People Too.  These pictures were shot at the Padres v Orioles game for OD4 Little League Challenger game.  Just about every player on both teams are the unfit.  But I would say every one of them deserved to be born.

I and everybody in my family are among the unfit. Huge numbers of people I know are unfit. There are mothers who would abort an autistic child if they could have. My son has Cerebral Palsy. One of my best friend's children has CP.

I think that people who care for children born with birth defects and inherited diseases deserve a lot of credit. But I have no problem with someone terminating a pregnancy to avoid a lifetime of disability for a child. That is a case where I can't see anyone having any right to question a woman's decision to have an abortion.

You do realize how incredibly insulting that is to both the parents and the kids, right? It isn't like we're anybody special- if anything, I'm less capable than the average neurotypical *should be* if they truly had any of that mythical empathy they keep telling me I should have.

I have a huge problem with anybody who hates the disabled so much that they think such a child would be better off dead. NO life is so disabled that death is better, ever.

I don't hate the disabled. I don't believe that an early termination of a life is doing anything bad to anyone. If you end the life of someone who has become aware of their being alive, that is a different story. But a first trimester fetus has no awareness of its own existence.

Then maybe somebody should come shoot you, since early termination of a life isn't doing anything bad.

I'm not going to argue abortion with you. You know what I mean by terminating a life early. I mean some time during pregnancy. Abortion is like genocide to you. There is nothing I can do to help you with that kind of warped vision. It's an insult to people who have experienced true genocide.

Considering that you also believe in Euthanasia, no, I do not know that your "a life terminated early" only applies to fetuses.

Father claims 15 year old girl from another family is capable of consent : I'm beginning to really like the change in Florida's government.  First they stop handing out welfare checks to junkies.  Now they are treating Lesbians under the same rules as Heterosexuals, gasp, what a concept!  Don't sign this petition unless you are FOR statutory rape of younger girls by predatory lesbians. Call them what you like, Broken Families are still a TRAGEDY!

Yes, liberals value family , but not enough to recognize that a broken family is a tragedy. Divorce is actually worse than death as far as the grieving process goes- especially when there are children, custody battles, parental support, and alimony involved. And homosexuals raising children? That is tragic, not something to be celebrated. Maybe if we'd *recognize* that a broken family is a tragedy we would be more willing to say, pay taxes for WIC so that the single mother working a minimum wage job actually has the ability to choose life. Maybe we'd have more men willing to stick around and help raise the children they cause because the condom broke while they were stupidly using sex only for recreation. Maybe, just maybe, we'd be raising men instead of a generation of cowardly wimps who choose homosexuality and suicide over real life. Suffering and tragedy is valuable- but only if we recognize that it exists.
