- Plant native, drought resistant, edible plants on every available surface with sun. They need to be native and drought resistant because they will only be watered with rain.
- Have lots of babies. At least 10 children per family, whenever possible.
- Encourage the mortal sin of gluttony. Ideally everybody should die of an obesity related illness and should weigh in at over 200 lbs at death.
- Discourage cremation at death, encourage full body ground burial in metal caskets encased in concrete to prevent accumulated carbon from escaping back into the atmosphere.
- Close sections of graveyards when full, and plant native drought resistant edible plants on top of the graves, to accumulate more carbon for sequestration.

A geeky, pro-life plan to reduce global climate change
They tell us global climate change is caused by atmospheric carbon. Based on plant ability to sequester atmospheric carbon, I suggest the following methodology for sequestering carbon away from the environment for long periods of time.

Novena of Divine Mercy Day 8
Novena: Eighth Day
Meditation:
Today bring to Me THE SOULS WHO ARE DETAINED IN PURGATORY, and immerse them in the abyss of My mercy. Let the torrents of My Blood cool down their scorching flames. All these souls are greatly loved by Me. They are making retribution to My justice. It is in your power to bring them relief. Draw all the indulgences from the treasury of My Church and offer them on their behalf. Oh, if you only knew the torments they suffer, you would continually offer for them the alms of the spirit and pay off their debt to My justice (Diary, 1226).
My Prayer Response with St. Faustina:
Most Merciful Jesus, You Yourself have said that You desire mercy; so I bring into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls in Purgatory, souls who are very dear to You, and yet, who must make retribution to Your justice. May the streams of Blood and Water which gushed forth from Your Heart put out the flames of Purgatory, that there, too, the power of Your mercy may be praised (Diary, 1227).
--------------------------------
My commentary- I aim for purgatory, not heaven. Why? Because I know once I enter purgatory, I'm headed for heaven. I NEED the fire. I need the pain. I need to make retribution to Christ's justice. If I don't, I know with my current personality I'm unfit for Heaven. Heaven won't be heaven for others unless I go through purgatory first. I need all the help I can get, so thank you Jesus, for the streams of Blood and Water which cool the flames of purgatory.

When scientists become politicians
Science suffers when scientists become politicians. A few examples:
- Biologist Paul Ehrlich predicted in the 1970s that: “Population will inevitably and completely outstrip whatever small increases in food supplies we make,” and that “The death rate will increase until at least 100-200 million people per year will be starving to death during the next ten years.”
- In January 1970, Life reported, “Scientists have solid experimental and theoretical evidence to support…the following predictions: In a decade, urban dwellers will have to wear gas masks to survive air pollution…by 1985 air pollution will have reduced the amount of sunlight reaching earth by one half….”
- In January 2006 Al Gore predicted that we had ten years left before the planet turned into a “total frying pan.” We made it.
- In 2008, a segment aired on ABC News predicted that NYC would be under water by June 2015.
- In 1970, ecologist Kenneth E.F. Watt predicted that “If present trends continue, the world will be about four degrees colder for the global mean temperature in 1990, but 11 degrees colder by the year 2000, This is about twice what it would take to put us in an ice age.”
- In 2008, Al Gore predicted that there is a 75% chance that the entire north polar ice cap would be completely melted within 5-7 years. He at least hedged that prediction by giving himself “75%” certainty.
- On May 13th 2014 France’s foreign minister said that we only have 500 days to stop “climate chaos.” The recent Paris climate summit met 565 days after his remark.
- In 2009, Nasa scientist and leading climate expert James Wassen warned that Obama only had four years left to save the earth.
- On the first Earth Day its sponsor warned that “in 25 years, somewhere between 75 and 80 percent of all the species of living animals will be extinct.”
- And another Earth Day prediction from Kenneth Watt: “At the present rate of nitrogen buildup, it’s only a matter of time before light will be filtered out of the atmosphere and none of our land will be usable.”
Novena Of Divine Mercy, 7th Day, with additional commentary
Novena: Seventh Day
Meditation:
Today bring to Me THE SOULS WHO ESPECIALLY VENERATE AND GLORIFY MY MERCY, and immerse them in My mercy. These souls sorrowed most over My Passion and entered most deeply into My spirit. They are living images of My Compassionate Heart. These souls will shine with a special brightness in the next life. Not one of them will go into the fire of hell. I shall particularly defend each one of them at the hour of death (Diary, 1224).

My Prayer Response with St. Faustina:
Most Merciful Jesus, whose Heart is Love Itself, receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who particularly extol and venerate the greatness of Your mercy. These souls are mighty with the very power of God Himself. In the midst of all afflictions and adversities they go forward, confident of Your mercy. These souls are united to Jesus and carry all mankind on their shoulders. These souls will not be judged severely, but Your mercy will embrace them as they depart from this life (Diary, 1225).

My Commentary:
Does doing this novena, and spreading the message of Divine Mercy, help with me being rigid? I hope so.
I do not think it is merciful to lie to people, is my problem. But reminding people that while their sin is a sin, it is in most cases not the unforgivable sin, can help people avoid the real unforgivable sin- failing to trust in Jesus Christ and his mercy.

Novena of Divine Mercy Day 5
with my commentary below
Novena: Fifth Day
Meditation:
Today bring to Me THE SOULS OF THOSE WHO HAVE SEPARATED THEMSELVES FROM MY CHURCH, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. During My bitter Passion they tore at My Body and Heart, that is, My Church. As they return to unity with the Church, My wounds heal and in this way they alleviate My Passion (Diary, 1218).
My Prayer Response with St. Faustina:
Most Merciful Jesus, Goodness Itself, You do not refuse light to those who seek it of You. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who have separated themselves from Your Church. Draw them by Your light into the unity of the Church, and do not let them escape from the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart; but bring it about that they, too, come to glorify the generosity of Your mercy (Diary, 1219).
---------------------------------------------
I often notice that today, those who choose this path do so because they don't understand what the Church is. And by extension, they don't understand who Jesus Christ is. They leave because they think their favorite sin, the one they most enjoy doing, is unforgiveable. But in all cases, the real unforgiveable sin isn't the reason why they left, it is the *leaving* itself, for it cuts them off from Christ's mercy. Your favorite sin is but a single grain of salt dissolved into the ocean of mercy. The Church won't lie to you about that sin- they will tell you the truth about it- but in the end result, it is rather inconsequential in eternity, unless you cling to it and refuse to "Let Thy Will Be Done On Earth as it is In Heaven".

Novena of Divine Mercy Day 4
Novena: Fourth Day
Meditation:
Today bring to Me THOSE WHO DO NOT BELIEVE IN GOD AND THOSE WHO DO NOT YET KNOW ME. I was thinking also of them during My bitter Passion, and their future zeal comforted My Heart. Immerse them in the ocean of My mercy (Diary, 1216).
My Prayer Response with St. Faustina:
Most compassionate Jesus, You are the Light of the whole world. Receive into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls of those who do not believe in God and of those who as yet do not know You. Let the rays of Your grace enlighten them that they, too, together with us, may extol Your wonderful mercy; and do not let them escape from the abode which is Your Most Compassionate Heart (Diary, 1217).
-------------------------
Yesterday I let off a bit of steam about "rigid" Devout and Faithful souls. THIS group is the motivation for yesterday's souls. We've found Jesus, we've found The Way of Life, and we see clearly The Way of Death and the damage it causes. I know, since Vatican II, evangelization and proselytizing being practically forbidden, there are few creative outlets for reaching out to those who do not believe in God and those who do not yet know Jesus; the assumption that came out of the testimony of the missionaries is that there is no culture on Earth that has not been touched by the power of forgiveness and Jesus Christ. But the sad part is, those who have no true knowledge of God or Jesus do still exist, and worse yet, due to distorted teachings at the peripheries, many of them have very bad ideas of what God and Jesus represent. Thus there is still evangelization work to do- and once evangelized, nobody has zeal like a convert.

Novena of Divine Mercy, with my commentary
Novena: Third Day
Meditation:
Today bring to Me ALL DEVOUT AND FAITHFUL SOULS, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. These souls brought Me consolation on the Way of the Cross. They were that drop of consolation in the midst of an ocean of bitterness (Diary, 1214).
My Prayer Response with St. Faustina:
Most Merciful Jesus, from the treasury of Your mercy, You impart Your graces in great abundance to each and all. Receive us into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart and never let us escape from It. We beg this grace of You by that most wondrous love for the heavenly Father with which Your Heart burns so fiercely (Diary, 1215).
---------------------------
My personal reflection: this is the group that today's moral relativists jeer at, hate, and are intensely intolerant of. These are the people who, though not perfect themselves, still believe in absolute objective morality, while using it to point to the need for forgiveness and mercy. In the recently concluded Year of Mercy, this group got only insults from Pope Francis himself, calling them rigid, Pharisee, followers of rigorism. And yet it was this group, above all others, who consoled our Blessed Lord on the cross.

Novena of Divine Mercy Day 2
Novena: Second Day
Meditation:
Today bring to Me THE SOULS OF PRIESTS AND RELIGIOUS, and immerse them in My unfathomable mercy. It was they who gave Me strength to endure My bitter Passion. Through them, as through channels, My mercy flows out upon mankind (Diary, 1212).
My Prayer Response with St. Faustina:
Most Merciful Jesus, from whom comes all that is good, increase Your grace in men and women consecrated to Your service, that they may perform worthy works of mercy; and that all who see them may glorify the Father of Mercy who is in heaven (Diary, 1213).
------------------------------
My commentary: Vocations are down in the United States. It is a hard life to live. It can only be done with the support of parents and a large family. Pray for larger families, and pray for vocations.

Novena of Divine Mercy, Day 1
The Novena of Divine Mercy, with suggested prayer and my commentary:
Novena: First Day
Meditation:
Today bring to Me ALL MANKIND, ESPECIALLY ALL SINNERS, and immerse them in the ocean of My mercy. In this way you will console Me in the bitter grief into which the loss of souls plunges Me (Diary, 1210).
My Prayer Response with St. Faustina: Most Merciful Jesus, whose very nature it is to have compassion on us and to forgive us, do not look upon our sins but upon our trust which we place in Your infinite goodness. Receive us all into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart, and never let us escape from It. We beg this of You by Your love which unites You to the Father and the Holy Spirit (Diary, 1211).
----------------------------------
My commentary- I trust in Jesus, I don't trust in man very well. Our response to the crucifixion can't be limited to trust- we must also convert away from sin and be saved. Divine Mercy exists- there is only one unforgivable sin and whatever you think is your greatest sin most likely isn't it- but without the response to the grace of forgiveness of making a firm purpose to amend our lives, then forgiveness can and does leave us worse off than when we started. Let us not lose the grace given, let us use this forgiveness to truly be saved.

More disappointment from this Pope
Several Months ago, four cardinals asked five rather pointed questions.
http://www.ncregister.com/blog/edward-pentin/full-text-and-explanatory-notes-of-cardinals-questions-on-amoris-laetitia
And for months, Pope Francis refused to answer.
Yesterday this happened:
http://www.ncregister.com/blog/edward-pentin/pope-francis-thanks-maltese-bishops-for-amoris-laetitia-guidelines
And with this act, the dubia has been answered.
We now now the answers to these questions, thanks to Pope Francis yesterday approving of the Maltese plan in this matter: The answers are Yes, No, No, No, No, precisely the opposite of the hoped for orthodox answers of No, Yes, Yes, Yes, Yes.
Objective truth surrounding the Sacrament of Marriage is now gone. The church has reversed the universal teaching on the indissolubility of marriage.
