Does science have to cover angels and demons or can it just conclude that they don't exist or that the study of them is not science.Theodore M. Lust or greed are the two favorites in America- but hiding information affects all seven deadly sins.

Do you even understand what I am accusing these three isms of? BAD SCIENCE. Just the way you obsess about sex when debating gay marriage, you obsess about disbelief in the supernatural being inspired by demons.

Some people just refuse to acknowledge the supernatural. It might mean they are thick, but it doesn't have to mean they are demon possessed.Theodore M. "

Yes, you are sure they are made up, so none of the confirmations since then, none of the eucharistic miracles, could possibly have happened.

The key part is " I am sure they are stories that were made up"- the prejudice against the evidence, like a vaccine inoculation against a disease. The evidence doesn't matter, because you *started* with your mind made up.

That is not rational thinking at all, that's reductionism. Which I am beginning to suspect is demonic in origin.Theodore M. I am sure they are stories that were made up and passed along becoming more incredible each time they were told until they were finally recorded. We know today what people didn't know when the stories of the Ascension and Assumption were made up. They thought that Heaven was up in the sky and therefore the idea of Jesus and Mary flying up, up and away to Heaven was possible to them. We now know that, even traveling at the speed of light, they would have not left this galaxy, let alone this universe.

This is rational thinking and it is not the thinking of demonic possession. Your thinking, on the other hand, is dominated by a false set of religious beliefs that you seem unable to rise above.Theodore M. The whole of Christianity rests on the misperception that he rose from the dead and ascended into heaven. If that isn't a lie or delusion, I don't know what is.Theodore M. The true natural reason why people believe in the supernatural is because they have had experiences with the supernatural. The only lie is the one that hides evidence.

Funny how atheists are never skeptical about their own skepticism- or the purposes behind skepticism.Theodore M.
