Aren't they already?

But the very point is that you call them "homophobes and bigots"- you've decided that they aren't human. You have removed their humanity for merely agreeing with biological reality instead of fantasy, and you're willing to use the full power of government against them up to and including military might.

I never said they aren't human. You have to be human to be a homophobe or bigot. I have no interest in resorting to military might. It is easy enough to ignore them.

Then why not ignore them, instead of writing laws about them and forcing your opinion on them by threat of military?

I realize it was a Republican who showed the way (Abraham Lincoln, in the issue of slavery), but why compound the error?

Do you think I am forcing my opinion by threat of military?

Not you personally, but with the recent Supreme Court Decision and the new regulations surrounding this, the US Government certainly is. I expect one day within the next 40 years, it will be illegal to be heterosexual.

Why do you say things like that?

Because it is what I am seeing here in Oregon- where speaking out as a Catholic gets your church painted with swastikas, where you can get fired for speaking out on this topic.

You have a propensity to exaggerate.
