Why abortion will never be safe, let alone rare

The fight to keep abortion legal has left the realm of rational behavior and so abortion will never be either safe or rare as long as it is still legal.

The situation in Texas shows the polarity on the abortion issue. The proposed bill has genuine safeguards that any woman should want. But it sets a precedent for states to try to undermine the rights of women that were secured under Roe v. Wade. Proponents claim that the purpose of the bill is to increase the safety for women having abortions. But the side effect, which is the real purpose, is that a number of clinics will be forced to undergo expensive renovations of their facilities or close. Some of them will close making it mission accomplished for the pro-life proponents. It seems to have the support of the lawmakers and the Governor. It will likely pass and then be ruled as unconstitutional by the courts.

So you're against abortion clinics having to renovate to be safe. Never claim again that you are pro-woman when you are talking about abortion, I will link to this comment.

If the courts rule it unconstitutional, so be it, it's another nail in the coffin for them and their denial of the basic right to life as defined in the Declaration of Independence. I'm beginning to think we need another revolution to straighten this out.

I don't think so.

I'm not inciting a revolution, Ted. I'm just trying to get you to be a little more tolerant of others. You're the one talking about revolution.

Your "more tolerant of others" is a revolution- because it is intolerant of the civilization that others have built.
